blubolt were approached to design and develop a site that would give experienced and budding artists the ability to showcase their work to the public in a format unlike many other video sharing sites.

We needed to both create a very stable and robust platform but also work with third parties like Bit Gravity, who did the video transcoding, to create a seemless solution.

Some of the site's features include:

• Sophisticated Advertising Model - we helped create a advertising platform that meant Liberated Films where making money from the launch. Adverts were in the form of banners and also trailers.
• Film Submissions - we created a simple to use film uploaded that could handle any size of media file and automatically resized, converted and stored the film.
• Forum - we integrated an informative forum to help the visitors share tips and and infomation between each other.
• Media Sharing - we integrated a media share section for every video so visitors could insert the videos from LF into their websites.

Liberated Films was designed to be a place for Independent Filmmakers to get exposure and connect directly with their fans. With the ability to rate artists and films, share content and communicate via an active forum, Liberated Films offers something truly unique within the online film community.
