pod is a design-led home and lifestyle business that offers innovative and appealing products that make ideal gifts.
With two shops in the south-west of England that are fast growing in popularity, pod's online presence has become an integral part of their business. The goal of this latest redesign was twofold: improve the functionality and design of the front-end to deliver an easier, richer shopping experience; and secondly, to deliver an admin system that made it easier to manage the website from day to day. Now, nearly every aspect of the website can be controlled from product management, to website graphics and copy.
The site features a host of our core bluCommerce features including:
- User-experience enhancements: product quickviews, 1-page checkout, quick-search, quick add-to-cart, dynamic image viewer, wishlists
- Product merchandising: up-selling, cross-selling, personalised customer recommendations
- Store locator
And functionality unique to pod:
- Gift finder: customers are able to narrow down products based on category, personality, and price range
- Integration with their warehouse and stock control system, Retail IT
