The launch of traineo was overwhelming. Within 48 hours the site had over 7,000 members...
traineo.com is a weight loss & fitness website with a difference! Developed for US & UK based HDO Group LLC, we worked together to devise a simple to use site that combined some of the latest software technology with some great novel and sticky concepts. With the number of registered users continually growing, traineo is poised to be the next-generation leader in online health and fitness.
Some of the site's features include:
- Progress Tracking: The site features an AJAX-driven front end where users are able to log their workouts, diet, weight, create 'custom logs', a message other members.
- Community: Users are given their own unique traineo.com page to showcase their progress, write comments, and display their friends and groups. The site also has a popular forum where users can post questions for other members to respond to
- Motivators: When users sign up, they have the option of choosing 'traineo motivators' whose job is to keep an eye on their weight-loss progress and ensure they reach their weight loss goal.
- Groups: Users can create their own groups or join existing ones.
- Fitness Library: The site is updated with new articles on training, diet and motivation, plus features podcasts and interviews from some of the biggest names in the fitness industry.
Our role in the development and progress of traineo has been crucial and we're glad to be involved in this exciting project.
