Starting in a ramshackle barn in 2006, we now operate from a Georgian townhouse in the heart of Bath on the famous Queen Square, with a team of enthusiastic and inspired staff, every one of whom we’d trust with our lives, and your business!

As a company, we have leveraged our extensive knowledge of web technologies and retail business practices to develop a slew of eCommerce solutions that provide feature-rich, user-friendly and unique interfaces and solutions to new and old problems.

With a world-wide client base, comprising many well-established brand names and rapidly-growing start-ups, we have invested tens of thousands of development hours into code which is tested, extended, deployed and maintained in order to produce truly scalable, stable and affordable eCommerce solutions.

Despite our technical prowess, we still retain a strong ethos of design and usability, and believe that our work and our platform should not only be functional, but it should be beautiful, and pay our clients the dividends they deserve!

Maxwell Lamb

Founder and Technical Director

Maxwell has over 12 years of commercial software development experience, and some 20 years of development experience, and six years of working closely with retailers of all scales and across multiple market verticals.
Chris Mattingly

Founder and Creative Director

Chris has been working within the eCommerce industry since the late 1990s and has a wealth of experience in design and usability. Chris also has strong organisation and project management skills that have helped innovate and drive the business forward.

Executive Chairman

Kevin is the CEO of more2 and joined blubolt in 2012 as advisor and executive chairman. At more2, he has grown the company to become one of the leading multi-channel data consultancy companies in the UK.
Aaron May

Senior Account Manager

Aaron has had a long successful history in managing client accounts, and heads up the account management arm at blubolt. Aaron ensures smooth operation of clients sites deployed across the bluCommerce platform.

Senior Project Manager

Mandy oversees project management at blubolt and is involved in projects from commencement to full production deployment. Mandy has a strong pedigree in working with both small and enterprise sized companies throughout his career.
