Our process:
  • Initial Consultation: In depth meetings to discuss your requirements for your website both in terms of design and functionality.
  • Design Phase: Design out wireframes and how the user-interface will work and then proceed into building these out further.
  • Develop a workable website: Once you're happy with the look, these designs are then coded into XHTML & CSS plugged into our ecommerce system.
  • Testing & reviews: All code resides on our development server and we conduct thorough testing to ensure all aspects of the website are ready for customers.
  • Going live! Once testing is complete and we've picked up on any bugs, we then set the website live.
  • On-site training: We can come to your office location and train you on-site so you're 100% happy with managing your website

1-Page Checkout

2008 sees the release of our newly developed 1-page checkout. Customers are able to complete the full checkout process from signing-in, entering in their billing/shipping details, choosing a shipping method, and entering in their payment details all without refreshing or leaving the page. This significantly reduces the checkout-time for customers, ultimating leading to a richer experience and reducing cart-abandonment.

 


Easy product management

With your product management system, there is no limit to what you can do to enhance sales of your products – multiple images, product options, 360 degree views, zoomable images, long and short descriptions, variable pricing – all through one easy-to-use web based GUI. Adding a new product only takes two clicks!

Product stock management control

The advanced stock management system lets you set product volumes for all of your products – as they are consumed, the stock decreases. In addition to simple stock level control, we also offer warehouse management – stock location, numerous warehouses, and supplier IDs for easy and fast re-ordering – purchase orders can be generated straight from the administration GUI. Additionally, we offer the ability to automatically re-order from suppliers who support any automatic method, when stock levels hit a certain level, or when stock moves at a certain speed. Stocked products can be assigned a product name, an internal product ID, a manufacturer’s SKU and ISBN info.

Customer Management

Customers can create an account on your store in a matter of seconds. The customer my account area features order tracking, products saved to their wishlist, personalised recommendations, reward point status, saved addresses, and a full ticket-creation system.

Wish list

Wish ListBlubolt’s wish list allows anyone browsing the site to add products to their wish list, through a simple, user-friendly AJAX interface – they never have their browsing flow interrupted. Users can choose to enter their email address to save their list for later, or associate it with their pre-existing customer login – this gives you access to valuable information about products which interest people on your site. Additionally, users can send their wishlists to unlimited friends – driving traffic to your site, increasing revenues.

Product Comparison

Quick ViewThe idea of product comparisons are to help your customer to choose the right product from your store. When selling products with numerous features, some customer may be overwhelmed by the profusion of technical details. With this AJAX functionality built in, customers can easily place products side by side in one table to compare their characteristics at a glance without even leaving the page.



Product Filtering

Quick ViewIf your store's products come with a range of options, such as brand-type, size, colour, screen sizes (e.g. in the case of computer monitors), then product filtering is a great enhancement to your visitor's experience on your site. Users can narrow down products based on set parameters to find the exact product they're looking for!



Product Quick Views

Quick ViewOur AJAX-driven 'Quick View' system makes browsing products a breeze! The Quick View allows a shopper to take a closer look at an item on a page of several. Instead of clicking on an item for more information the shopper can simply click the Quick View button and a new box pops up with information such as colors available, product material and sizing info. Ideal for reducing customer clicks and providing a faster, more efficient shopping experience

Reward points programme

Reward PointsAnother feature offered is the ability for users to accumulate reward points on their purchases – this can either be set up as a flat percentage of expenditure, or with threshold values – points encourage repeat business. Additionally, reward points can be set up to either be expendable on all products, or upon a select range of products – this can aid in increasing sales on a flagging range.

Product up-selling and cross-selling

Cross selling and up-selling are both easily configurable through the store admin areaI – cross-saleable products are shown both on product pages as recommended purchases, and at the time of checkout. The selection of cross-sellable products can either be manual, or can be automatic, or somewhere inbetween, configurable through an innovative rules-based system.

Gift certificates, discounts, coupons

Gift certificates, discounts and coupons can be offered to your customers or would be customers – these can be applied in any number of ways, such as application to a specific product only, a specific product range only, effective only over a certain purchase amount, effective only with the purchase of a specific selection of products, accessible only to signed in customers, flat rate discount, percentage discount, or even as a sitewide discount accessible by all users.

Customer Notifications

Customers receive automated email notification for registering, placing orders, invoices, order status, order tracking, shipping notification, customer service ticketing system notification, refunds, in of stock notification, and forgotten password.

Advanced searching

ColorYour store will offer the ability not only to search through product descriptions, names, prices, internal IDs and SKUs, but also offers you the ability to define specific fields for certain ranges of products, such as screen size and LCD/plasma/CRT for TVs,  engine size and number of seats for cars, or even colours. This helps improve conversions by allowing your customers to get to exactly what they are looking for, and FAST.

Affiliate programs

As with many major websites, such as Amazon.com, you too can offer an affiliate program. Paying someone a small percentage of a sale they generate is a great way to boost volume – percentages and payments can be set up automatically through blubolt’s system, as well as tracking of sales volume/revenue by affiliate.

Easy order management

With your order management system, orders can be prepared, dispatched, refunded or cancelled through one easy click. Packing slips are automatically generated for the smaller retailer, and integration with major couriers such as UPS is entirely automated, pricing, packing slips and all. Orders can be searched for by order ID, alternate order ID (for those using an additional third party order management system), customer name, date, or by price threshold.


Advanced shipping options
Integration with a number of couriers and postal services is offered, including UPS, USPS, and any other system that offers an online interface. Pricing of different shipping options to different zones is offered, and can be calculated by volume or weight, according to different courier rules & preferences
