Alan joins the troop as a developer with strengths in a variety of languages. Fresh from university, ambitions have already lead him into developing websites for several friends and colleagues single-handedly from the lairs of his own bedroom.

At the computer, he enjoys spending time tinkering with Javascript, generating fancy-looking but otherwise generally useless scripts, as well as dabbling with PHP to create web applications that usually prove ever so slightly more practical.
