Already enjoying Shopify Plus, Chelsea Peers was ready for a fresh, more sophisticated design to elevate the website design so it reflected Chelsea Peers’ brand as it is now. “Another objective was to create the website on Shopify’s new Online Store 2.0,” says Skylar Moffatt, Project Manager at blubolt. “The brand was also keen to use close integrations with a select group of tech partners.”
“As Chelsea Peers has matured, the brand has become more sophisticated,” says Matt Richards, Head of Design at blubolt. “So we designed a beautiful bespoke Shopify Plus theme that reflects this evolution. At the same time, we’ve maintained that element of playfulness the brand is known for.” We also delivered on brand requirements like a mobile-first design, speed, internationalisation, and greater in-house autonomy.
“In keeping with the Chelsea Peers team desire to elevate the brand, we delivered a sleek and flexible homepage they can customise on Shopify’s Online Store 2.0,” says Tom Bellew, Senior Developer at blubolt. “We also included customer quotes and their Instagram feed for greater authority. And, of course, we ensured this was of an equal standard on mobile with tabs across the top for easy navigation.”
The development team also delivered on the brand’s request for a tight Nosto integration, with Nosto’s product slider features on the homepage, category, and product pages. To complement this, the development team also created a slick ‘quick add’ functionality where customers can see all available sizes. Lastly, the team set up collections and search with Boost Commerce, reviews with Feefo, email with Klaviyo, and wishlist functionality with Smart Wishlist.
Armed with a sophisticated bespoke theme, tight tech integrations, and the new capabilities of Online Store 2.0, Chelsea Peers’ new site has already delivered impressive results.
